LIBRARY LINE: Celebrating mystery throughout May

Join us on Saturday, May 6 at 2:30 p.m. when we will be hosting a talk with award-winning crime novelist Peter Kirby. Get ready for a wide-ranging conversation about what drives him to write books that critics have described as “taut, claustrophobic, and compelling,” “powerful, dark, and raw” and “riveting.”

Kirby’s most recent crime fiction title, Open Season, was the 2016 Arthur Ellis Best Novel award winner. His other titles include The Dead of Winter and Vigilante Season. Kirby will be speaking about his work, his writing process, how to get started in writing, and will have books available for sale. No registration is required for this free event; please call 613-968-6731 x2237 for more information. This event is made possible by the Canada Council for the Arts.
